How partners are chosen: every partner tradesperson is local to Glasgow, checked for the qualifications and insurance their trade requires, and known to Aley through the local trade community. If a partner lets you down, tell Aley — partners who get complaints don't get more jobs.

Your rate is fixed: 15%
Every partner pays the same flat rate — 15% commission on jobs completed and paid through the team. It's confirmed in a WhatsApp message before your first job, so it's in writing and there are no surprises later.

Start getting jobs
When a matching job comes in, Ahmed sends you the customer's details. You quote them directly, do the work if you win it, and get paid by the customer as normal.
What you need to join
The team is kept deliberately small and local, so customers keep getting a good job done.
- Qualified for your trade — e.g. Gas Safe for gas, SELECT / NICEIC-type registration for electrics where the work requires it.
- Insured — public liability insurance in place for the work you take on.
- Local to Glasgow — based in or around the city, so you're not travelling miles for a quote.
- Reliable & tidy — turn up when you say, quote honestly, and leave the job clean. Partners who get repeated complaints stop getting jobs.
- Your own business — you stay self-employed / your own firm. You set your prices, choose which jobs to take, and invoice the customer yourself.

Why percentage — not pay-per-lead?
There are three common ways lead companies charge tradespeople. Here's the honest difference, and why this team uses percentage:

Worked example — for illustration
At 15% commission, say you win a £400 job through Aley:

The rate is a flat 15% for every partner — no negotiating, no hidden extras. Bigger or smaller jobs work the same way: on a £1,000 job the commission is £150 and you keep £850; on a £100 job it's £15 and you keep £85.
- The customer always pays you directly — never through Aley
- No commission if the job doesn't go ahead or the customer doesn't pay
- Commission is not added to the customer's bill — it comes out of your margin, so quote with it in mind
- Your own repeat work from that customer afterwards is your business — just be upfront with Ahmed about jobs that come via the team
- You're free to turn down any job — no obligation to accept work that doesn't suit you
- Either side can leave the team at any time — commission is only ever due on team jobs already completed and paid

Is the quote really free?
Yes — every quote is free and no-obligation, whether the job is done by Aley himself or by a partner tradesperson. You're never charged for asking, and there's no pressure to go ahead.
Who actually does the work?
Furniture assembly, flat pack assembly, wardrobes and beds, sheds, painting & decorating, carpentry, plastering, laminate flooring, garden services and handyman jobs are done by Ahmed (Aley) himself. Plumbing, electrical work and roofing are done by qualified local partner tradespeople that Aley works with — he'll tell you upfront which one it is before you agree to anything.
Does using a partner tradesperson cost me extra?
No. The partner pays Aley a 15% referral fee out of their own margin for sending them the work. The price you're quoted is the price you pay — nothing is added on top for you.
How do I pay?
You pay the person who did the job, once it's done and you're happy with it — payment methods are agreed with them when you accept the quote.
Which areas do you cover?
